Support

We're here to help.

Forage is built to be simple, but if something isn't working or you have a question, reach out and we'll get back to you quickly.

say hello

Email us at hello@foragelog.app.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Forage and go to the Profile tab. Tap Restore purchase and sign in with the Apple ID you used to buy Forage Pro. Your access will be restored immediately.

My data disappeared — what happened?

Forage stores everything locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, or restored your phone without a backup, the data won't be recoverable. We recommend keeping your device backed up to iCloud so your logs are preserved.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Forage Pro is available as a one-time lifetime purchase ($24.99) or an annual subscription ($14.99/yr). If you purchased the annual plan and want to cancel, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel from there. Lifetime purchases are not subscriptions and do not renew.

A food is missing or has the wrong fiber count.

Email us at hello@foragelog.app with the food name and the correct value. We update the database regularly and will get it added. You can also add any food manually using the Custom entry option in the log screen.

Where does fiber data come from?

Fiber counts are sourced from USDA FoodData Central and OpenNutrition. Restaurant data is sourced from OpenNutrition. Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts.

Where do the health facts come from?

All health information in Forage is cited. During onboarding you can tap any source to open the original publication. Sources include the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, CDC, FDA, American Cancer Society, American Gastroenterological Association, The Lancet, BMJ, and other peer-reviewed journals. Forage presents population-level findings — not personal medical advice.

Does Forage work on iPad?

Forage is designed for iPhone only and is not available on iPad.

How do I delete my data?

Go to the Profile tab and tap Reset all data at the bottom. This permanently removes all logs, notes, and settings from your device. Because data is stored locally, this cannot be undone.
